- How Does Consignment or Selling to The Luxury Lady Work?
The Luxury Lady is proud to offer a seamless experience for selling or consigning luxury handbags and accessories. Whether you ship your items or schedule a private drop-off at our appointment-only hub, we handle every step—from photography and listings to shipping, customer service, and even layaway options.
You’ll receive 60% to 70% of the final sale price (70% for Louis Vuitton, Gucci, & Chanel items and 60% for “other brand” items). Once an item is paid in full by the buyer, payouts are typically issued within 10 business days of the item’s shipment and processing. We also offer upfront cash buyouts or generous trade-in values for store credit.

• Buyout – Want fast cash? We’ll buy your bag outright. For Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, and YSL, receive 60% of our expected resale value. For all other designer brands, the payout is 50%.
• Consignment – Prefer a higher return? Consign your item and receive 70% of the sale price on top-tier brands (LV, Gucci, Chanel, Hermès) or 60% on other brands.
• Trade-In – Eyeing something new? Trade in your item and receive 60% of our projected sale price as credit. Bonus: trade-ins reduce your sales tax—making your next luxury find even sweeter.

We accept luxury items in a variety of conditions—from gently loved to like-new. Each item is thoroughly inspected, rated, and photographed with full transparency so buyers know exactly what they’re getting. - What is the Authentication Process?
Authenticity is everything at The Luxury Lady. Our founder, Katie Beth, combines expert in-house evaluation with advanced AI-based authentication through Entrupy, ensuring a 99.1% accuracy rate. Every bag sold comes backed by our Financial Guarantee Promise. - What is the Consignment Term?
Our standard consignment term is 90 days. If your item doesn’t sell during that time, you may request its return—and we’ll cover the shipping. - How Do I Ship My Items?
Use your preferred shipping method (insurance is encouraged, but not required). Once your quote is approved, we’ll provide detailed shipping instructions. No signature confirmation needed—our secure business address ensures safe delivery. - What if My Bag is Not Authentic?
We only sell 100% authentic designer items. If your item is found to be counterfeit, you can choose to have it returned for a $75 authentication and return shipping fee—or we can dispose of it with your permission. - How Will I Know When You Receive My Items?
You’ll receive a confirmation via email or social media message once your items arrive safely. - Do I Need to Sign a Seller Agreement?
